December 30, 2023 -- FLOAT DECORATING TOUR WITH LUNCH AND A HOLLYWOOD STUDIO TOUR

After breakfast, all guests will see the finishing touches being put on the Tournament of Roses parade floats before they head down Colorado Blvd. You’ll enjoy a delicious three-course luncheon at the famous Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills followed by a real Hollywood Studio tour. (BREAKFAST AND LUNCH)

December 31, 2023 -- CATALINA ISLAND

Start your day with a buffet breakfast before heading off to Catalina Island. You’ll board one of the Catalina Express ferries for a short one-hour cruise to the island. These vessels offer both inside and outside seating, as well as a snack bar and restroom facilities onboard for your comfort. You’ll log some 26 miles as you sail along the Pacific Ocean over to Catalina Island. Once you arrive, the day is yours to get acquainted with the storybook town of Avalon, which you’ll find is packed with boutiques, restaurants, and things to do! You might want to take a tour of the historic Casino, take a guided tour of Avalon, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to sightsee on your own this afternoon.

 

The evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing, and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats and party favors, a drawing for exciting prizes, and a champagne toast to ring in 2024! (BREAKFAST AND DINNER)

 

January 1, 2024 -- 135TH TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BACKYARD STYLE BBQ AND MOVIE NIGHT

Enjoy an early morning buffet breakfast at the hotel before heading to Pasadena where you will have reserved premium grandstand seats as you watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard. A souvenir program and blanket are included. After the parade, you’ll return to the hotel for a special Southern California backyard-style BBQ. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. In the afternoon, you'll be treated to an exclusive performance by William Florian, former lead singer with the New Christy Minstrels, who weaves together music and stories in this very special tribute. You will find yourself singing along with William as he performs celebrated songs including Annie's Song, Leavin’ On A Jet Plane, Take Me Home Country Roads, Sunshine On My Shoulders, and many, many more. January 2, 2024 -- SHOWCASE OF FLOATS, DOWNTOWN DISNEY AND FAREWELL DINNER

Another hearty buffet breakfast is included before you travel back to Pasadena to see the floats on display at the spectacular “Showcase of Floats” event. After viewing the floats, you’ll spend the afternoon at Downtown Disney for lunch and shopping. You’ll celebrate a great week with a special waterfront farewell dinner overlooking Newport Harbor. January 3, 2024 -- HOMEWARD BOUND

After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to new friends as you depart the hotel to make your way home. (BREAKFAST)
