Can I help decorate a Rose Parade float? 

Unfortunately, we are not offering our Hands-On Float Decorating Experience this year due to the strict health and safety restrictions. We hope to bring this back for the 2025 Rose Parade.

Where are the Rose Parade seats located?

Our seats are located at 1350 East Colorado Blvd. in Area Three of the parade route. For more information, go to the Rose Parade Seating page.  

 

Can you get tickets for the Rose Bowl game?  

You are in luck! We are able to secure tickets for the Rose Bowl game as an add-on to one of our Rose Parade Experience packages. 

 

What is the dress code for the New Year’s Eve party? 

The dress code is semi-formal. 

 

What time do we depart the hotel on January 1 to go to the Rose Parade?  

The breakfast buffet begins at 4:30 am and the coaches depart the hotel at 6:00 am.

 

Are airport transfers included in the package? 

No, but if you plan to fly into SNA airport the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel. We will provide complimentary airport transfers for groups of 10 or more. 

 

What do you recommend for gratuities?

We feel that gratuities should be a personal expression of satisfaction and gratitude.  If you are happy with the service you have received, we recommend $5-$7 per person, per day for the coach driver, and $8-$10 per person, per day for tour directors. We recommend tipping daily at the end of each day because you may not be on the same bus your entire stay.

Do you offer a special rate for children?  

We welcome guests of all ages and many have found this tour to be a wonderful experience for multi-generations.  We do not specifically offer a children’s rate, but we do offer savings for triple and quad occupancy.

 

What time are check-in and check-out? 

Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa.

What if it rains at the parade? 

The parade will go on rain or shine. Please note that umbrellas are not allowed in the grandstands, but we will provide rain ponchos if necessary.

What time should I book my flights for arrival and departure?  

Flights should arrive into SNA, LGB or LAX, no later than 4:00 pm. 

 

Returning flights should depart no earlier than 8:00am on January 2 or January 3 to enjoy breakfast before departure. Any guests departing earlier than 8:00am will be on their own for breakfast.  

 

Is this tour handicap accessible? 

Yes, it is! We can request a handicap room. We also have wheelchair seating at the parade as well as wheelchair rentals at the hotel. The wheelchair rentals are $25 per day or $80 for the entire week. It is a first-come, first-serve reservation for all wheelchairs. If you need to have a wheelchair lift for the bus, please let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements.
